The program they offer is a 67- credit program that will prepare the students for the national certification exam and licensure exam as required by the State before they are allowed to practice as an MRI technician. A school founded in 1989, the St. Phillips College located at 1801 Martin Luther King Drive, San Antonio, Texas has 11,000 students.  This school is accredited also by the Joint Review Committee on Education on Radiologic Technology. The training program includes classroom and hands on experiences. Once the students have finished their training they are now eligible to take both the national certification and state licensure exam.
